Custom tattoo studio by appointment only. Owned and operated by Alicia Simms, an award winning artist with over 19 years of experience. Also the studio of Jen Power and Megan Anthony.

We’re booking in one-month blocks!

We currently book in one month blocks, so the first week of January, we book appointments for February, and so forth. There’s not always room to take on new clients each month, but please email all booking inquires to info @ rollingsea . ca with the following information:

  • What do you want to get?
  • Where do you want to put it? (Left or right if applicable)
  • How big in inches would you like it to be? – actual measurements please
  • Colour or black and grey?
  • If there’s wording, what words and what font?
  • Please include any reference pictures you may have.
  • Please confirm that you are 18 years old or older.

Meet Alicia

Alicia has been tattooing since 2007. She began tattooing in St. John’s, Nfld and opened Rolling Sea Tattooery in 2014. She’s a perpetual student of her craft, and is constantly broadening her horizons in the quest of delivering the best work. She also has a Bachelor of Design, with a Major in Graphic Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. See more about Alicia at aliciaetattoo.ca.

Meet Jen

Jen Power hails from Truro, Nova Scotia. She apprenticed with Alicia in 2021, and has been tattooing for five years. She comes from an extensive art background specializing in wildlife paintings, and enjoys tattooing in different styles. Subject matters she enjoys are florals, birds and wildlife, but she’s open to bringing whatever your vision is to life.

Meet Meg

Meg turned her childhood dream into reality when she began her tattoo apprenticeship in Halifax, NS in 2019. She has a deep love for the outdoors, and relocated to Truro to be closer to nature, joining the Rolling Sea team in 2025. Meg specializes in fine-line black and grey work with stipple shading. While she is always excited to bring different styles and custom concepts to life, her absolute favourite pieces are anything involving animals, nature, anime, and her favourite childhood video games.
